Edit Mesh

Instructions

Step 1

Click the Mesh Edit icon.

Step 2

The tool panel for mesh editing is activated in the upper-left corner.

1. Trim

Use these tools to cut and edit mesh data.

1.1 Smart Selection

Automatically detects and highlights unwanted areas on the mesh. Adjust the selection with the slider.

1.2 Brush Tool

Paint the areas on the mesh that you want to remove.

1.3 Lasso Tool

Draw a polygon to outline the areas on the mesh that you want to remove.

2. Self-intersections

Automatically detects self-intersections in the mesh.

Removes regions where self-intersections are detected.

3. Fill holes

Automatically detects holes in the mesh.

Fills regions where holes are detected.

4. Sculpt

Use brushes to deform and refine the mesh geometry.

Quick Guide

You can restore the original data by clicking the “Revert to original data” button.

Step 3

After finishing mesh edits, click the corresponding icon on the bottom toolbar to save your changes.
