Getting Started with Dentbird Milling

Instructions

Step 1

Open Dentbird Milling from the case list in Dentbird Cloud. Alternatively, after completing a crown design in Dentbird Crown, click Dentbird Milling.

Step 2

After entering Dentbird Milling, first select the milling machine.

Step 3

Select the material to be milled.

Step 4

Select the design to be milled.

Select the block to use for milling from the list.

Quick guide

If you select a zirconia block, a field for entering the shrinkage rate will become active in the detailed settings.

Step 5

Automatically or manually position the crown on the selected block, then set the parameters for the connector pins (sprues).

Quick guide

The milling axes are displayed in 3D. You can check the positional stability of the crown on the axes in real time.

Step 6

Click the [Start] button in the lower-left corner.

Step 7

Check that the tool settings match, then click [Confirm] to start milling.

The Tool Settings Confirmation dialog displays the selected milling machine, slot number, and slot details.

Step 8

Confirm that the milling is proceeding successfully.

Quick Guide

Click the button on the top bar to check the progress of the milling process.
