Die

When you click Die in the main toolbar at the bottom, the die editing tool panel will appear on the left.

Die Editing Tools

1. Add teeth

1.1 Die list

A list of tooth labels for die creation is displayed. Click on a tooth label to edit that specific die. You can also delete a label to remove the die from the list.

2. Border line

Click the corresponding icon to edit the die margin line.

2.1 Edit mode

2.2 Clear

Delete the current margin line.

3. Die option

3.1 Die type

  • extra die: The die body is generated with a straight vertical drop from the margin line.

  • cut out die:

Quick Guide

  • Insertion Direction: Adjust the insertion direction of the selected die.

  • Ditch on Die: Enable or disable the ditching option by selecting the checkbox.

  • Model Ditch Width and Die Gap settings become active when the Ditch on Die option is enabled.

4. Die numbering

Label the die with the corresponding tooth number.

Quick Guide

  • Preview button: View a preview of the die to be created.

  • Apply button: Apply all changes.

Click the icon and then click on the tooth you want to designate as a die. The selected tooth will be added as a die.

Point mode: Drag the points to modify the die margin line.

Pen mode: Draw lines to modify the die margin line.
