Preference

To change the design settings for the Dentbird Modeler, click on Setting - Preference in the App Bar at the top.

Color

1. Mesh color

You can specify the rendering colors for each data type in Dentbird Modeler. These colors will be displayed when the data has no texture or when the texture is turned off.

Accessibility

1. Mesh optimization

AI will inspect and optimize the scan data automatically.

2. Auto save

Automatically save cases at regular intervals during design progress.

Tool

Set the default state of the side toolbar. When using Dentbird Modeler, the tools will automatically open according to user's specified settings. You can open and close the tools at any time during the solution process.

Base

1. Base type

Set the default base type in the Dentbird Modeler.

2. Fill type

Set the default base filling type in Dentbird Modeler.

3. Wall thickness

Configure the default value for the thickness of the base of the wall.

4. Drain hole

Toggle the drain hole activation on/off by selecting the checkbox, and configure the number of drain holes.

Quick guide

Up to 10 drain holes can be created on both the top and bottom.

5. Reset parameter

Reset the wall thickness and drain hole values set by the user.

Die

1. Ditch on die

Toggle the Ditch on Die activation on/off by selecting the checkbox.

Quick guide

[Model Ditch Width] and [Die Gap] settings are activated only when [Ditch on Die] is enabled.

2. Model ditch width

Set the width of the ditching within the model.

3. Die gap

Set the gap between the model and the die.

4. Reset parameter

Reset the ditch on die values set by the user.

5. Die numbering

Engrave the tooth numbering at the center of the die.
