Preference

To change design settings in Dentbird Modeler, go to Top Bar > Settings > Preference.

1. Color

1.1 Mesh color

Specify the rendering color for each data type in Dentbird Modeler. These colors are displayed when the data does not have a texture or when textures are turned off.

2. Accessibility

2.1 Mesh optimization

Automatically optimizes the uploaded scan data by using AI to inspect and process it.

2.2 Auto save

Automatically saves changes at regular intervals during the design process.

3. Tool

Set the default tool panel configuration in the side toolbar. When using Dentbird Modeler, the selected tools will automatically open based on your preferences. Tools can still be opened or closed at any time during the workflow.

4. Base

4.1 Base type

Set the default base type when using Dentbird Modeler.

4.2 Fill type

Set the default internal fill method for the base.

4.3 Wall thickness

Set the default thickness of the base.

4.4 Drain hole

Always enable drain holes and set the number of holes by default.

Quick Guide

A maximum of 10 drain holes can be added per side.

4.5 Reset parameter

Reset any custom changes made to the base settings.

5. Die

5.1 Ditch on die

Always enable ditching on dies when using Dentbird Modeler.

Quick Guide

The Model Ditch Width and Die Gap settings are enabled when Ditch on Die is checked.

  • Model Ditch Width: Sets the width of the ditch within the model.

  • Die Gap: Sets the gap between the die and the model.

5.2 Reset parameter

Reset any custom changes made to the die settings.

5.3 Die numbering

Automatically label each die with the corresponding tooth number by default when using Dentbird Modeler.
