New

Abort all ongoing processes and delete all open data. Then return to the initial empty project state.​

Notice

It is recommended to save important tasks or work results using Save As or Export before performing New.

Open

Open File dialog to load a 3Dme Studio project file (file_name.3dme).​

Quick Guide

You can load the project file (*.3dme) by drag and drop.

Save as

Save the current project as a 3Dme Studio project file (*.3dme).

Notice

The project file is saved to the download path set in the browser and the file name is set to project.3dme.

Import

Open File dialog and load variety of data such as CT or mesh.​

*Supported file formats​

CT data: .dcm (select all the slice files simultaneously), .vti, .nii​

Mesh data: .stl, .ply, .obj​

Texture data: .mtl, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp​

Quick Guide

You can import CT and mesh data by drag and drop.

Notice

It is recommended to open texture data with mesh data. 3Shape's mesh in dcm format is not presently supported in 3Dme Studio.

Export

Converts the format of mesh data in the current project and saves it in batches.

  1. Select the mesh data to export. You can select and deselect all using the All button.

  2. Batch change the file format of the selected mesh data. You can revert to the original format by pressing the altered file format button again.

  3. It indicates mesh data with texture. Furthermore, a warning sign is displayed if the file format selected by the user does not support texture.

  4. Change the file format individually.

  5. Cancel the export operation.

  6. Batch save the selected mesh data in the selected file format.

Notice

Mesh data are saved automatically to the download path set in the browser.
