Automated Teeth Segmentation
Individual teeth are automatically segmented, independent of missing teeth, attachments, or color information.
How to automatically separate each tooth from 3D dental data
Instructions
Step 1
On the main menu, click the [Teeth Segmentation] button, select your input data, and then click Next.
Step 2
Confirm the data and press the [Detect] button to start identifying the tooth boundaries.
Step 3
Review the identified tooth boundaries and begin the segmentation process.
Caution
Reversing steps at this point may result in the loss of identified boundaries.
Step 4
Once segmentation is complete, click [Export] to save the data file.
Caution
Going back at this stage may lead to the loss of boundaries, teeth, and gingiva segments.
