New Crown Case

How to create a new case for crown design

Instructions

Step 1

Click the [+ New] button on the side navigation bar and select [Dentbird crown] to create a new case.( Go to New Crown Case.)

Step 2

Click the [Browse] button in the Main viewer area to select file(s) from the PC drive or drag & drop files directly to the area.

Quick Guide

When one or more files are loaded in the Main viewer, the AI automatically classifies each data type (Upper, Lower, Additional).

Caution

If the data is not a dental scan, the AI's automatic classification may not be accurate.

Step2-1

You can try Dentbird Crown with sample data. Click [Import Sample Data], then you can see variety type of sample data.

Step 3

If you want to directly load each data or the data is loaded in the wrong type by mistake, drag& drop the scan data in the Data viewer area.

Step 4

With the Upper Base and/or Lower Base file loaded, you can click the [Crown] or [Virtual Crown] button on the lower right-hand corner to proceed to the crown design stage. (Go to Dentbird Crown)

Caution

Crown cases created using the previous version, 3Dme Crown, cannot be modified in Dentbird Crown. To modify your crown case, delete the existing crown data and restart the design process. If you want to keep the previous crown design, case duplication is recommended.
