New Crown Case

How to create a new case for crown design

Instruction

Step 1

Click the [+ New] button on the side navigation bar and select [Dentbird Crown] to create a new case. Alternatively, you can create a new case by clicking the [New] button on the top app bar.

Step 2

Click the [Browse] button to select a file from the explorer, or drag and drop files directly into the import area to upload scan data.

Quick Guide

When one or more files are loaded in the Main viewer, the AI automatically classifies each data type.

Caution

When there are separate scanbody and die files, they are categorized as 'Undefined'. The user can directly place them to the corresponding arch.

Step 3

If the AI's automatic classification is not correct or the data is loaded in the wrong type by mistake, you can drag & drop to change the type.

Step 4

With all files loaded, including the upper, lower and additional files, and no uncategorized 'Undefined' data, you can click the [Design] button to proceed to the crown design stage.

Caution

Once you move to the Design stage, it's not possible to edit or delete the loaded data.

Caution

Crown cases created using the previous version, 3Dme Crown, cannot be modified in Dentbird Crown. To modify your crown case, delete the existing crown data and restart the design process.
