Margin Line Menu

Clicking the [Margin line] button on the Main Toolbar opens the margin line edit tool.

Margin Line Tool

1. Edit mode

You can manually edit the margin line.

Quick Guide

• Point mode: You can edit the margin line by selecting and moving the control points. If you select a place where there are none, a new one will be added. Right-click on a point to remove it.

• Pen mode: Draw freely to modify the margin line.

2. Adjustment

Change the values to move the margin line uniformly.

3. Move

You can move the margin line up and down all at once by clicking the arrows. The distance of movement is determined by the step distance value.

4. Redetect

Click on the starting position of the margin line, and the existing margin line will be deleted and re-detected.

5. Clear

Delete the selected margin line including the tooth number.

6. Show undercut

Toggle the visualization of undercuts on abutments on or off.

7. Apply

Changes the margin line according to the values set by the user.

Quick guide

The [Apply] button is only visible in modes where an abutment tooth has been generated or manually added. It will not be visible before the crown is generated.

Mark the starting point, place points along the margin line, and finish by the starting point again.
