Insertion Direction

Clicking the [Insertion direction] button on the Main Toolbar opens the insertion direction edit tool.

1. Set insertion direction

Set the insertion direction based on the current camera view. Upon clicking the button, the handle in the 3D view will update according to the current camera orientation.

2. Apply

Apply the modified insertion direction.

Quick guide

Only the abutment where the crown was created will expose the Apply button.

3. Set insertion direction with handle

You can adjust the insertion direction in the 3D view by moving the insertion handle. Drag the handle to set the correct insertion direction.

Caution

The insertion direction affects the crown's internal design and its interference with adjacent teeth.
