After creating a new case and loading the necessary data, click the [Design] button to enter Dentbird Crown.
Caution
When there are separate scanbody and die files, they are categorized as 'Undefined'. The user can directly place them to the corresponding arch.
AI automatically finds and displays the scanbody or abutment and tooth number.
Caution
The user verifies that the detected scanbodies or abutments match the dentition. Manual corrections might be required.
Click the [Select library] menu in the wheel menu.
Select the appropriate library for the implant (‘Company’, ‘Implant’, ‘Type’, ‘Subtype’).
Library bookmark and search
Click the library dropdown to search for a specific library, and click the star icon on the right to set it as a bookmark.
After selecting all library categories, proceed to the alignment step. Click a point on the scan body as shown in the illustration on the left panel to confirm the scan body's alignment. Click the [Apply] button to complete the alignment.

After alignment, you can manually adjust the alignment position using the control box.

At the bottom of the screen, you can see the currently selected implant library and type.
After verifying the aligned abutment, click the [Apply] button. Select the checkbox if you want to add a screw hole.

Screw holes can be added or removed even after crown creation.
Click the [Generate] button at the bottom left to create the crown. It will be generated considering adjacent and opposing teeth if data is available.
Caution
For implant cases, the crown will only be generated if all items ('Company', 'Implant', 'Type', Subtype') in the library are selected.
Click the modification tool at the bottom to edit the crown, or click the [Export] button at the top to save the crown design file.
Caution
The user may need to check the proposed crown design. Manual modifications might be required.
Quick guide
When saving the designed crown, margin line information (.constructioninfo file) is also extracted for crown processing.
Click the button on the panel to enable 3-point based alignment. Additionally, you can reset using the button.
